The River King paddles a Floating Couch on the Connecticut

Steve Snell “River King” paddled the Connecticut river in a wooden, carved couch boat.

I am almost positive that this is one of the characters from my Couch, my bet is on Erik, escaped from the book. If you run into him, please ask.

Oh, and I just found this at steve-snell.com. Definitely worth a look-see. I’m so happy that Erik upgraded with a paddle.

Via my good friendĀ Paul Chaney who found this story on the other side of the pond.

The Daily Hampshire Gazette is Northampton, MA’s local newspaper incidentally, as Northampton is on the Connecticut River. And Small Beer Press resides nearby. And wood grows on trees, which Northampton also has in abundance, as well as couches.
