Hypothetical question: What happens when you put 23 couches on a shelf?

Answer: Nothing much! The shelves still held, though there was some creaking and groaning. Though that might have been my family.

At any rate, the good folks at Small Beer sent me my very own box. Which is a relief, since the windows have been lacking something to prop them up properly.

We’re not terribly apt at organizing our shelves. Or are we…

this is my favorite post of yours on this blog. you failed to mention that Couch is not only taller than Underworld but according to your own photo Magic Mountain and Tolstoy. It isn’t even close. You should send Gavin the second picture to guilt him into helping you fill that full shelf with Couches. That gap is too big! What is your plan with your book stash? Are you going to use it primarily for queries or to impress your visitors?

thanks David. I think all early readers ought to get one, (you!) and then I’ll probably send a few others out to reviewers.
The rest I’m not sure. Weave into a quilt?

Dude. I loved it. I hated it too though. I couldn’t put it down!

@Bryan – I don’t think I could hope for any better review than that. Thanks. Though the not putting it down might have had to do adhesive we applied to the cover. Sorry about that.

I really did love it. I sort of lost a whole day reading it. I haven’t voraciously read a book like that in quite a while. I should have ordered it directly from you, I’d have an autographed copy then. Preordered mine on amazon, I hope you get your ten cents or whatever they give you. Keep Writing. It was good stuff.
